International Ministry

Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur can be found in 14 countries around the world. Sisters who are part of the U.S. East-West Province have served in many of those countries. A few of the many examples are Sister Carolyn Buhs (Kenya and South Sudan), Sister Mary Corripio (Japan), and Sister Ellen Dabrieo (Brazil).

An International Congregation

Since the early nineteenth century, Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur have been on the move! We live and work among people of different cultures on five continents, in places as varied as Liverpool and Lima, Belmont and Boston, Hiroshima and Harare. What an experience of the many facets of God’s goodness and boundless creativity!

Sister Sandy Price has served in Nicaragua for more than 40 years, teaching and helping Nicaraguans in rural communities build schools. This is her story made possible by your generosity.
