The Labyrinth — An Ancient Form of Prayer for Contemporary Times
After a brief history of this ancient form of prayer, we will examine various ways of utilizing the Labyrinth in contemporary times from scriptural, ecological and psychosocial perspectives. Weather permitting, we will walk the Labyrinth together. Our gathering will conclude with a light lunch.
Presenter: Sister Nancy M. Citro, SNDdeN. Sister Nancy holds a Master’s in clinical social work, a Master’s in theology with a concentration in spirituality, and a certificate in spiritual direction. She is a support coordinator for the Northeast Region of the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur. Her previous ministries include providing individual counseling across the lifespan, with families and groups; serving as a pastoral associate in a Catholic parish in the Boston area; and engaging with individuals as a spiritual companion.
