Justice, Peace and Integrity of Creation (JPIC)

We stand in solidarity with those made poor in an increasingly divided world. We witness the devaluation of human life, the destruction of our planet, and the growing intolerance toward those who are marginalized, impoverished or abandoned.

Inspired by St. Julie’s prophetic witness, we are called to be women of justice and peace amid the inequality and violence of our time.

As part of a global community, we seek to transform unjust structures and systems, foster new ways of connection that allow all creation to experience God’s courageous and prophetic goodness, and respond to the signs and needs of the times.

In the Spirit of St. Julie, we address urgent issues, including:

  • Advocating for Migrants and Refugees
  • Promoting Justice-Based Advocacy
  • Caring for the Community of Creation

Justice, Peace and Integrity of Creation - Our Work

Advocating for Migrants and Refugees

In the Spirit of St. Julie, we work to advocate, educate and empower migrant children and adults across the country.

Promoting Justice-Based Advocacy

Following in the spirit of St. Julie Billiart, we advocate for justice and peace in an increasingly divided world. Our Justice, Peace, and Integrity of Creation (JPIC) ministry leads legislative visits, advocacy campaigns and service and prayer activities to ensure that all voices are heard.

Our Commitment to Laudato Si'

The universe unfolds in God, who fills it completely. There is a mystical meaning to be found in a leaf, in a mountain trail, in a dewdrop, in a poor person’s face.
