Webinar: Healing Divisions Through Nonviolent Communication 7:30-9:pm ET
As political polarization deepens across the United States, many Americans are finding it increasingly difficult—even impossible—to have meaningful conversations with family members, friends, neighbors and colleagues who hold different beliefs. Studies show the country is now more intensely divided than at any point since the Civil War, raising urgent questions about what is lost when communities retreat into ideological bubbles.
To address these growing divisions, the Tri-State Network will host the webinar “Healing Relationships Through Nonviolent Communication.” The program will explore how individuals and communities can foster healthier communication, restore trust and strengthen democracy through nonviolent practices.
Kathryn Yanik, director of Justice, Peace, and Integrity of Creation (JPIC) for the SNDdeN U.S. East-West Province, is one of three speakers leading an online panel discussion.
