Where Girls Build, Create and Lead: NDA Hingham
July 7, 2026

The computer lab’s large-screen workstations and advanced software tools enable simulations, 3D modeling, data visualization and virtual tours of museums, historical sites, national parks, operating rooms and outer space.
At Notre Dame Academy in Hingham, Massachusetts, an exciting opportunity is unfolding!
The newly opened Teixeira Family Innovation Center is transforming the way students in grades 6–12 learn, create and imagine their futures. Spanning three dynamic, interconnected spaces—a computer lab, engineering lab and recording studio—the Center is a launchpad for the next generation of problem-solvers, designers and innovators.
Here, students don’t just absorb knowledge. They build robots. They simulate business startups. They craft interactive e-books and produce podcasts. They broadcast live coverage of school events, finding their voices and their confidence in real time.
NDA President Annemarie Lynch Kenneally ’80, P’13, ’15, captures the spirit of the space beautifully: “The Teixeira Family Innovation Center reflects our commitment to empowering girls as creators and problem-solvers.”
That commitment is now four walls and a vision made real—a place where curiosity is welcomed, creativity is celebrated, and every student is encouraged to dream boldly and build fearlessly.
The future, it turns out, is being built right now, and the girls of Notre Dame Academy are leading the way.
