Refreshed Hallmarks of the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur

For the first time in 20 years, the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur have updated their list of Hallmarks for the organization’s learning communities and other ministries in the United States.

The significant change was to add “care for all creation” to the third Hallmark. The revision honors Laudato Si’, an encyclical of Pope Francis that focuses on care for the natural environment and all people, as well as broader reflections on the relationship between God, humans and the Earth.
