Sister Bernadette Turgeon, SNDdeN was a Sister of Notre Dame for 68 years. She entered the convent in 1957 while residing in Massachusetts and her first ministry was as a primary grade teacher in Massachusetts. She taught for 14 years.

Next, she moved to New Hampshire and began serving as the director of youth ministry for the Diocese of Manchester where she served for 27 years. She retired from service at the Parish of the Transfiguration in Manchester, New Hampshire, where she had worked with children of all ages.
