Sister Judith Colwell, SNDdeN was born in Cambridge, the daughter of James and Isabelle (McGillvary) Colwell. She entered the SNDdeNs in 1957, took her first vows in 1960 and final vows in 1965.
She taught at Holy Rosary in Lawrence, St. Gregory in Dorchester, Our Lady of the Angels, Worcester, Presentation in Newton, St. Mary in Beverly, Our Lady Comforter of the Afflicted in Worcester, St. Mary in Shrewsbury, and Notre Dame Academy in Tyngsboro.
