Ruth “William St. Ann” Duffy

Sister Ruth Duffy, SNDdeN was born in Salem, Massachusetts, the daughter of William and Mary (Morris) Duffy. She entered the SNDdeNs in 1957, took her first vows in 1960 and final vows in 1964. Her religious name was Sister William St. Ann.

She taught at Presentation in Newton, St. James in Salem, Star of the Sea in Marblehead, Reading Center in Ipswich, and Bishop Fenwick in Peabody. She was a member of the Campion Renewal Center Retreat team and Boston Province Personnel Director.
