Patricia “Patricia Mary” Linehan (1931-2020)

Sister Patricia (Patricia Mary) Linehan, SNDdeN died at age 89 on  December 22, 2020 at the Notre Dame Long Term Care Center, Worcester.

Sister Patricia was born in Salem, daughter of Patrick and Irene (Hennessy) Linehan and graduated from Emmanuel College in Boston. She later earned a Master’s degree in Education from Boston College.

Sister entered the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur in 1950 and was a true educator throughout her many ministries. She served in the Greater Boston area, including Dorchester, Cambridge, Boston, Quincy and Lawrence. She also ministered to communities in Honolulu and Japan, and later in Worcester and Ipswich.
