Heritage, Faith and Care: Notre Dame Health Care Center in Worcester
December 30, 2025
The facilities at Notre Dame Health Care Center (NDHCC) in Worcester, Massachusetts, are undergoing exciting updates. Rooted in the mission of the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur, these renovations reflect the deep commitment to dignity, hospitality and holistic well-being.
As part of this project, the “neighborhoods” within the center have proudly returned to their original names inspired by locations in France: Cuvilly, Amiens and Namur. These villages were significant in the life of St.Julie Billiart, foundress of the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur, and reflect NDHCC’s pride in our Congregation’s history and legacy.
In celebration of the 25th anniversary of Notre Dame duLac, the assisted living facility, a reception was held on a beautiful evening in October and included music from a harpist and presentations from Sister Patricia O’Brien, SNDdeN, Jessica Brigham, vice president of Notre Dame du Lac, and Worcester Mayor Joseph Petty. The sunflower ice sculpture was particularly photo-worthy!
