Sowing Goodness Winter 2025: Stories of Faith, Service, and Global Community
December 11, 2025
In the latest issue of Sowing Goodness, the annual report of the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur U.S. East-West Province, we celebrate how the spirit of St. Julie Billiart—to make known the goodness of God—guides every facet of our lives and ministries.
From our deep commitment to Laudato Si’ and care for creation, to our work for justice and peace, this issue highlights how the Sisters’ presence continues to bring light and hope to the world.
We share the joyful celebration of Sister Gillian Wallace’s profession of perpetual vows; Sister Kathy O’Hagan, whose story in this issue reflects her 50 years of transformative ministry in Kermit, West Virginia; how God’s goodness flourishes through our schools, global advocacy for women and initiatives for sustainability and care of the Earth; Jubilarians who celebrated 25 to 75 years of service; and about our support for our sponsored schools and ministries, which provides funding for students, staff and programs, as well as projects like the St. Julie Haiti Project, a community-led bakery in Les Cayes.
