and growth of the Associate movement. The morning also included an engaging video exploring the stained-glass windows and hand-painted Stations of the Cross in the Chapel of Our Lady, Queen of the World, as designed by Sister Vincent de Paul Curran, SNDdeN.
Sister Anne was integral to the growth of the Associates program, when, in 1970, she accompanied 15 Associates from Britain to Paris, eventually leading to a structured formation process in New England.
As Sister Anne reminded those gathered in Ipswich, “What began as a small, faithful response has become an international movement. Together we move forward joyfully—Sisters and Associates—living the mission of Notre Dame around the globe.”
Associates are men and women who make known God’s goodness by living out the charism, mission and spirituality of the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur.
This spring, commitment ceremonies on both coasts welcome new Associates who are dedicated to the Catholic Church and ready to pledge Association with the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur. Contact a regional coordinator to learn more about becoming an Associate of Notre Dame.
