Founders' Day 2024

On February 2, 2024, we celebrated Founders' Day. 220 years ago, during the French reign of Terror, Saint Julie Billiart, Francoise Blin de Bourdon and Catherine Duchatel consecrated themselves and promised God that they would devote themselves to stand with those in need. They were to focus their efforts on education, which St. Julie called "the most important work on earth." From that moment on, the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur have sought to make known God's goodness.

Sisters, Associates, students and staff from all across our Notre Dame community came together at various events around the country to celebrate our Founders' Day. Enjoy this slideshow of highlights from these events!
